OAR has a vibrant and welcoming recreational rowing community. There are more than a dozen club members who may row on any day of the week, retired folks or people who have flexible work schedules. The club has a squadron of more than 15 singles that members can take out on the water at any time. We contact one another by e-mail and row on pretty days year round.

Experienced adult rowers are welcome to contact us to arrange a guest row – or join our rowing community.

Rowers age 18-23 are welcome to join for shorter seasons that fit well with a summer or semester off from school. For more information on U23 (under 23) rowing, please contact membership@olympiaarearowing.org
